SUN-SHIELD conductive paints/coatings provide EMI shielding, anti-static protection(ESD), corona shielding, and surface grounding in a wide range of applications. One/two-component  acrylic, air-dry conductive paints are intended for EMI/RFI/ESD shielding of non-conductive substrates(Like Engineering Plastic, PVC, PC/ABC, PBT, FRP).

Developed especially for commercial applications, SUN-SHIELD series Conductive Paints/coatings are specially formulated to provide high levels of EMI shielding effectiveness and excellent adhesion on a variety of plastic materials used for plastic electronic enclosures, These include Polycarbonate, ABS, PC-ABS, Noryl, FRP and PVC. Recommended applications include plastic enclosures for mobiles, PDAs, notebooks and desktop PCs, routers, DVD players, Amplifier (AMP) Instrumental electronics, Auto-Electronic and military terminals etc. 

SUN-SHIELD 100/200/600 conductive paints/ coatings consist of silver-plated-copper/pure silver particles dispensed in a one/two-component, acrylic/Latex resin system, Extensive testing has been performed to ensure that SUN-SHIELD 100/200/600 conductive paints/coating is stable at high and low temperatures, and in high humidity and moderate salt fog environments. This tough, abrasion resistant coatings also meet the adhesion requirements of UL746(Underwriter’s Lab.).

With its excellent leveling and uniformity, SUN-SHIELD series coatings are compatible with all commercially available application technologies, including High Volume/Low Pressure(HVLP) spray systems, and conventional  propeller-agitated pressure pots (recommended thickness is 2 mils. A low settling compound, it is ready for use after well mixing on a paint shaker. SUN-SHIELD conductive paints are supplied ready-to-spray and do not require additional thinning, although MEK may be used.

SUN-SHIELD 600 (SOP series) is especially designed for EMC/EMI of Instruments and automobile electronics, and SUN-SHIELD 606/841/641 for ESD/RFI applications of ,Instrumental electronics, DVD, MP5, Modem or other devices.

SUN-SHIELD  312  highly conductive coatings provide grounding issues for base equipment of wireless telecommunications systems.
